To the family and friends of the late Patricia Nicholas-Nedd, I do extend my condolences. Loosing a love one in death is always painful and difficult to cope with. It often raises many questions like, does death end of it all? Are the dead forgotten forever? Is there any hope for the dead?
Well thankfully the Bible has given us comforting answers to those questions. John 5 : 28,29 shows that the dead are not forgotten. It says " Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment". Jehovah God remembers the dead, so those in his memory will come back to life.
Acts 24 : 15 shows there will be a resurrection on earth, it says," And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". Billions will be brought back to life with the hope of living forever in an abundance of peace. These and many other promises are found in the Bible. They help to gave us comfort and hope for the future.

My deepest respect for your family on this tragic period. Though I maybe a stranger, I’m no stranger to death, having lost loved ones as well. The sadness and pain can be overwhelming as we contemplate all the fond memories we shared. Dealing with the emotional and physical anguish can be hard but it’s not impossible. Through Jehovah’s word the Bible, he provides practical support to help us handle the pain but he also gives us a soothing hope to help us be comforted and regain a measure of peace. Please follow the link and read for yourselves what I mean.

Matthew
