“When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping, he groaned within himself and became troubled. He said: “Where have you laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” Jesus gave way to tears.” These words are found in the Bible at John 11:33-35. Imagine the Lord Jesus “gave way to tears” At times like this a good long cry might be just the pain killer we need. Jesus also visited the home of the bereaved to provide comfort. Have you received comfort from friends and relatives, even strangers? More than that he brought Lazarus back to life. Will he perform miracles like this again in the future? Sure he will! If you had that power, would you not use it to help others? My wife and I wish to send our sympathy to the family.
