My name is Tricia Mills. You may not know me but when I read of the passing of Mr. Glen I wanted to give my sincere sympathy and to share a comforting message with his family and loved ones. Death is something that we can never get accustom to or come terms with, no matter who we are or where we may live. The Bible describes death as an 'Enemy' and a 'Sting'. Why do we feel such grief when someone dies? Because death was never a part of God's original plan for mankind. Romans 5:12 "Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned." Ezekiel 18:32 " 'I do not take any pleasure in the death of anyone,' declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. 'So turn back and live.' " So because of the disobedience of our first parents, Adam and Eve, we are all face with death but God does not desire for us to die. What hope then is there? Acts 24:15 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." Yes, Jehovah God provides assurance that the time will soon come, when you can see your beloved 'Glen' and under better circumstances, never to die again.
