Uncle Adolph I must say,as a child i remember you always being there for my mum, her sisters and myself..I practically grew up around you.It is so sad to see that in your last days we were kept from knowing what was going on with you...We should not have been denied that but with that said...We know that you are in a much better place now and not a burden to anyone anymore. You are at peace. We will always remember the great times and moments we shared with you forever in our hearts...So you take a little rest now my uncle, until we meet again..RIP

When someone is on your heart you ought to go look for them or call. We should have fought harder to see you more often. I was bringing Joshua to meet you and now your gone. We love you sooo much and you know it. I was wondering why God allowed me to still be in this place and I guess it was to say goodbye. You are with the angels now and I know you are looking down to guide us. One more angel in heaven. R.I.P Grandpa.

My grandpa passed away this past Sunday. I've been trying to find the words to describe how I feel, but there really are none. I haven't seen him in a really long time, not since I was about 5 years old or younger, so I don't have many memories of him. I do, however, remember how I felt when I was with him. I felt loved. I loved him and he loved me. That feeling hasn't gone away. I wish I could've seen him again before he passed, so he could've seen the woman that I became. I love you dearly grandpa and I know you will be looking down on all of us. I'm glad that you can rest peacefully now.
My granddad in 1960.

TO MY MOTHER, MRS. JOAN CHRISTIAN, WHO REMAINED MARRIED TO MY FATHER, ADOLPH BURBANK CHRISTIAN FOR 54 YEARS UP TO THE DAY OF HIS DEATH...SORRY I COULD NOT BE THERE WITH YOU TO COMFORT YOU DURING THIS TIME OF SORROW FOR THE CHRISTIAN FAMILY. I KNOW THAT DADDY LOVED YOU AND WAS ETERNALLY REGRETFUL FOR THE MISTAKES HE MADE EARLIER IN HIS LIFE.
TO MY BROTHER MORITZ CHRISTIAN AND MY SISTER CHARMIN CHRISTIAN...WE LOST OUR FATHER...AND EVEN THOUGH WE WERE DEPRIVED OF SPENDING TIME WITH HIM BECAUSE OF THE INSECURITIES OF OTHERS...HE IS NOW FREE AND NOT HELD DOWN BY TIME OR SPACE. DADDY VISITED ME ON SUNDAY AS I SAT IN CHURCH AND I FELT HIM TOUCH MY HAND AS HE SAID HIS FINAL FAREWELL BEFORE LEAVING THIS WORLD.
TO AUNTY CLEO, AUNTY SANDRA AND AUNTY BRENDA...DADDY LOVED YOU ALL AND WAS PROUD TO BE YOUR BROTHER. THE BOND WE SHARED WITH OUR FAMILIES GROWING UP AND SPENDING TIME TOGETHER IN MAYARO AND DIEGO MARTIN WERE SOME OF THE BEST MEMORIES OF OUR LIVES. HE HAS GONE TO BE WITH UNCLE RUDOLPH NOW...HIS BIG BROTHER. WE LOVINGLY REMEMBER THEM BOTH.
MAY YOU REST IN PEACE DADDY....IT IS FINISHED.

My name is Tricia Mills, you may not know me but I was looking at the obituaries and wanted to express my condolences to the loved ones of Mr. Adolph "Chris" Christian. Losing a loved one in death is a painful and sad thing. Death is something we can never get accustom to, the Bible refers to death as an enemy a sting but it also gives us comfort and assurance that soon there will be no more death and that you can see your dead loved one, 'Chris' again. Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." and Acts 24:15 "And I have hope toward God,which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." So the Bible tells us that God will get rid of death, what a time that will be.In the mean time though you may wonder, what happens when we die?
