My condolences to friends and family of Selma, I To was her friend and spoke with her a few days before she passed, she was a wonderful woman filled with caring and love , I wished I could have done more for her during her tough times, we shared a dinner at her favorite place in Brooklyn and we joked as we shared a fine Trinidadian dinner and I learned what the culture was , we joked as I was the only white guy there but felt conftable and at home, when I drove with her she spoke highly of her friends and family and of the special person that I was with at the time, I will miss you Selma God Bless

The family and friends of Selma Braithwaite I just want to extend my condolences to you all because losing a love is never easy but the bible gives us comfort that I want to share with you in 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 - "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. " We turn to Jehovah for true comfort.

The family and friends of the late "Selma" you have experience a great lost, one that words can hardly explain. I ask that you please accept my condolances. It seems soo unfair that we only get to spend such a short time with our love ones, then we loose them in death. This might have you grappling with many disquieting thoughts and questions as to, Why we die? Does God care about us? The Bible says at John 3:16 " For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life". Jehovah God made hope for the dead possible by sending his son to die for us. So he understands our pain because he knows what it feels like to loose a loved one. This loving provision from God really shows that he deeply cares and love us as individuals. Rest assured that soon this promise will come through at Hosea 13:14 " From the power of the Grave I will redeem them;From death I will recover them. Where are your stings, O Death?Where is your destructiveness, O Grave?Compassion will be concealed from my eyes".
