This is a small but huge heartfelt tribute to Aunty Zena, from me and my mum (her cousin) Girlzin.
I hearts are broken but we know if will eventually mend in the knowledge that she is with her heavenly father.
Our family are blessed to have had a woman of strength, tenacity and enduring love. Her constant prayers and words of wisdom are something that we will always be in our memories.
I am sure it is my Aunty Zena prayers that have sown the seeds of success in my life and my children’s lives.
If you ever feel discouraged or sad... remember...Aunt Zena’s life was a success. Too often we measure success by man’s definition of success, and although by man’s standards even she did pretty well, the truth is we must measure our lives by God’s measuring stick. Therefore, I define success as fulfilling the purpose for which God called us, and I believe with all my heart that Aunty Zena fulfilled that purpose. I believe with all my heart, her life was an epic success. When you look at her children and grandchildren, you see her success; when you look at my children, you will see her success; if you were able to look at me, you would see her success. Therefore, she lives on. She has left a legacy that will not die.
Aunty Zena you are and always will be loved
