My grandfather, “dad” as I used to call you, I am so hurt. Although you are my grandfather you were more of a father figure to me. I always loved when you cooked for me that’s one thing I’ll never forget. I remember when I was in elementary school in the third grade and you took me to “Father’s take your child to school day”. I never once called you grandpa, always Dad. I would’ve never imagined that my first time visiting Trinidad would be my last time seeing my grandfather. I’m glad that you are no longer in pain or suffering but I am hurt that you are gone. Rest in peace dad I love you- Nevaeh

It breaks my heart knowing that you are no longer with us. The pain in my heart knowing that we can no longer create memories filled with laughter is overwhelming.
