Please accept my sincere condolences . The passing of your loved one, Maria Thomas will bring you sadness and heartache. You may feel that a void has been created that cannot be filled. Please know that you are not alone. You can gain strength from God our creator, because he knows how you feel . At Jeremiah 8:18 it says " My grief is incurable. My heart is sick." Is this how you feel ? Take comfort in knowing that God cares about how you feel. Jehovah god promises that you can be reunited with your loved ones, on a paradise earth. Cristal, Karen and Candace, please accept my sincere sympathy for the death of your Mother. Losing a loved one, your Mother, in death brings great grief and pain. Though I have lost close family and friends in death, I personally do not know what it is like to lose a parent. It stings and hurts deeply. Death is something you will never get accustomed to. Some persons, even religious leaders, may say that your Mom has gone to a better place, that she's in heaven with God her Father. But do you that this is not in agreement with God and who he is? He is a God of love and does not desire for anyone to die and for children to feel the pain of losing a parent. Ezekiel 18:32 'I do not take any pleasure in the death of anyone,' declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. So God did not take your Mother away from you, rather she is asleep, awaiting the resurrection, when Jesus will call her name and she will be brought back to life here on earth and under better conditions, never to die again. (John 5:28,29 "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs (grave) will hear his voice and come out." 1 Corinthians 15:26 "And the last enemy death is to be brought to nothing) Do hope these words bring you, Candace, Cristal, Karen some comfort, knowing you can see your Mom again.
