Happy New Year Mummy! Christmas wasn't the same, but I made it through the day. Athena, Lil Boy, Clarice, Nyasha and I missed you so much for the Christmas meal..We tried to prepare it with your flavour, but the taste was nowhere near yours.. Your chair may have been empty, but we knew that you were with us. Missing that smile so much...

To : the family of Jacqueline ,
I am writing to express my condolences at this time and to share some comforting scriptures from the Bible. Can a person who has died come back to life? The Bible promises "There is going to be a resurrection..." (Acts 24:15). This means that you have the hope of seeing Jacqueline alive again, right here on a paradise earth! The Bible calls death an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26).
Jehovah God longs to bring people who have died back to life. When Jesus was on earth, God gave him the power to resurrect people ( Mark 5:41,42, Luke 7:12-15, John 11: 43:44). Knowing about the resurrection can bring you comfort and hope. You can look forward to seeing Jacqueline again, in perfect health and on a paradise earth. You can find more information at jw.org.

Granny,
It's been a few weeks since you have passed, and I've thought a lot about you, the life you lived, and the impact you had on us all as a family.
I've learned more about you, gained even more love and respect for you, and thought long and hard about how much family meant to you and how distance never was a barrier for your love of everyone.
I relate to that sentiment more now in my life than ever before I think.
You have taught me that passing doesn't have to mean the end.
For some, it can mean the beginning. The beginning of a new outlook on parts of our lives, that your spirit ultimately fuels in all of us.
As I sit at my desk, making my own way in life in Australia, I'm struck by how lucky I feel, and how ultimately, your choices and life sacrifices have allowed me to have some of the opportunities I've been able to seize in my own life.
I never told you when you were here, but THANK YOU.
I should have said it face to face, I should have called more, I should have done a lot of things. But living with regret wouldn't be something you would want for me, so here I am, making good on one of my regrets, and saying a humble and deeply felt thank you to you for all you have enabled in me, my dad and my family.
I look back on some of the short times I was able to be in your presence and how you made me feel.
I look back fondly. REALLY fondly in fact. Your warmth and smile were always so comforting, and the distance between our lives would dissolve away whenever we got to see you.
So strange a standout memory I have in the sea of many I have with you, I remember you once absolutely ripping into me for leaving some coconut water out of the fridge to go warm. You had told me once before, but in my haste to get back outside to play with my cousins and your treasured dogs, I forgot once again.
I hesitantly watched as you crack into a huge smile and soft laugh as you couldn't quite bring yourself to reprimand me.
So small and insignificant an event, that smile is forever burned into my memory and has been since I was a child. Secretly now, I’m so happy I left that water out that day.
You lived a life many would have struggled to comprehend, let alone thrive in, and you leave an amazing legacy that I'm so damn proud to be a part of.
My children will know your name, your story, and the roots from which they ultimately will be able to blossom.
Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU.

Please accept my deep regrets on the passing of the deceased. As family and friends grieve the loss no words is adequate but, the ones found at Revelation 21:4 gives us hope when it says, And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away. We can expect to see our loved ones again, we read at Roman 10: 4, God cannot lie. We can all have that hope.
