Please accept my sympathy on the passing of your loved one: MR Maurice Thomas. No matter how hard we try, we have not been able to escape the effects of aging, death and especially with this pandemic going on. Also our life may be cut short by a sudden accident or a cruel illness. James 4:14 says we are like a morning mist that appears for a little while and then disappears. Have you ever wondered why we grow old and die? Is there hope that our enemy death will be conquered? Ecclesiastes 9:5 says: for the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten.
