Perhaps the saddest thing someone can experience is the death of a loved one because it's hard to accept never seeing the person again.
Interestingly the Bible often compares death to sleep (Psalms 13:3) It teaches that God can awaken the dead as if from sleep and give them life again. At Acts 24:15 it says “There is going to be a resurrection.”.
The Bible offers much needed comfort for those who are grieving and explains God’s
promise of bringing the dead back to life.
