My heart goes out to the grieving family of Raymond Horsford. It is truly saddening to lose our loved ones in death. Please allow me to share a hope held out in God’s word the Bible that our loved ones will be brought back to life. This can be found at John 5:28,29 — “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, ....” We can look forward to seeing Raymond again right here on a renewed earth where God has promised to remove the sting of death. Revelation 21:4 — “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away....” 1 Corinthians 15:55 — “Death, where is your victory? Please accept my deepest sympathy. A comforting thought from the scriptures is at Isaiah 41:10 it says " Do not be afraid , for I am with you . Do not be anxious , for I am your God . I will fortify you , yes, I will help you , I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness." Having to face loss , some find it difficult to cope , they may feel alone and anxious. Even if you feel like there is no escape from sadness , take comfort in knowing that God will always be there for you . Focusing on his beautiful promise of a future of no sickness, pain or death can also help you to cope. Revelation 21:3,4 Understanding how much God cares for you can give you incredible peace of mind to deal with any trial.
