Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your loved one. God's Word reminds that there is going to be a resurrection Acts 24:15. The apostle Paul had strong reason to believe in this hope and was convinced in the promises of His Creator. As God's son, Jesus Christ used his God-given power to resurrect a number of persons whilst on earth including Lazarus (John 11:25, 43). These accounts not only provide proof of Jesus' God-given authority over death but also reflects the love of our Heavenly Father to get rid this last enemy of mankind which is death. Can death itself conquer God’s love for those who have served him loyally? Not at all! Such faithful ones who die will live on in God’s perfect memory, and he will resurrect them in due time.
