To All Bereaved by the passing of Shawn Ramdass,
Sincere condolences and sympathies! Shawn lived for a mere 39 years, leaving many sad and dejected. Some may say..."so soon he had to leave." God is very much aware of your hurt and pain. Shortly He will end suffering, pain and death! Revelation 21:3-4. If all of this seems strange to you please view this video: https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid=jwlshare&wtlocale=E&lank=docid-502016853_1_VIDEO
Or a visit to jw.org would prove equally enjoyable!
Have a great Future!

“Praised be…. the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials.” These words are found in the Bible at 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.” The word comfort can mean ‘the easing or alleviation of a person's feelings of grief or distress.’ May you find relief through prayer and the encouraging words found in the scriptures. Moreover, just as a person can be awakened from sleep. God has promised to awaken the dead to life on a paradise earth. Since early times people have gained comfort and hope from this promise and so can you. For more information please check our website at jw.org

To the family of Shawn Ramdass,
Please accept my condolences on the death of your dearly beloved. It hurts to think he was just 39 years old at the time of his passing. Gone so young! But gone where? one might ask. Permit me to share a few comforting thoughts from the Bible that hopefully will ease somewhat the pain of your loss. Firstly, I do not know how Shawn died but be assured of this: God is not responsible. Death was not part of God’s original purpose for mankind. Our first parents, Adam and Eve, brought death upon us through their disobedience. As a consequence, we all eventually die from old age, but we can die before that for various reasons and not because God predetermined it to be so. (Romans 5:12: Psalm 90:10; Ecclesiastes 7:17; 9:11) Secondly, you need not worry over where Shawn is or whether you can do anything to help him. Why not? Because the Bible tells us that death is the opposite of life; the dead know nothing and are as if in a deep sleep from which they can be awakened in God’s due time. And here’s the good news, friends: God promises to resurrect the dead, all those he chooses to remember. (Job 14:14, 15; John 11:23-25) If you would like to learn more about the resurrection hope, please visit the website www.jw.org and check out “ Bible Questions Answered.” You will surely find what you read there to be uplifting and beneficial.
Sincerely,
Stanley Waterman
