My deep condolences to the Basdeo family on their loss of Russell. The Bible says that God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.(Rev. 21:3, 4). What a wonderful time to look forward to when we will never have to deal with death again! May you find comfort in these thoughts along with other scriptures and videos found @ www.jw.org

To the family of the dear Russell Basdeo, My heart was deeply touched when I came across this obituary. Seeing that Russell was at the tender age of seventeen. Being a parent myself I wanted to bring you some comfort using the scriptures. The bible at Revelation 21:4 says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” So what this scripture is telling us is that a time would come when our dead loves ones would be resurrected back to life and we would be able to have them back with us. So soon all these pain and mourning will be no more. Isn't that something nice to look forward to? I think it is because the bible assures us that these former things would pass away . I am very sorry to hear about Russell`s death. To the family & friends, please accept my condolences. The bible at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 says" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." Coping with the death of a love one is indeed a trial that requires divine help. The bible also comforts family members with the hope of seeing their loved one again on this earth note what John 5:28,29 " Do not be amazed at this ,for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of Judgment."
